MNG Design takes on residential interior design projects in Louisville, Kentucky and surrounding areas. We work with homeowners on both large and small projects—whether it's a custom home renovation or a single-room redesign. We also offer in-home and virtual consulting sessions for both local and remote clients.

  • For full-service design projects, MNG Design works with our clients from conception to completion in their home renovation process, whether it’s a full house, a kitchen, or a bathroom. We collaborate with contractors and architects, and our services include design, materials and furniture selection, product procurement, installation, and managing everything in between. Working with MNG Design ensures that every aspect of the renovation is managed and that no detail is overlooked.

  • For clients who want to update specific rooms in their home without renovations, we offer design or refresh services for those spaces. We will provide the design concepts, all materials and furnishings selections, and the coordination of the procurement and installation of those items. Upon completion of this process, clients are delighted to see a new bedroom or living room without the hassle of a messy renovation.

  • MNG Design offers a 90-minute in-home design consultation for clients seeking an in-depth session for smaller-scale projects. From paint color suggestions to furniture and floor-planning recommendations to styling suggestions, these sessions allow the client to pick an expert’s brain on all things design-related. Clients walk away from these sessions feeling confident and ready to make changes to their home at their own pace.

  • We offer “Designer for a Day” — a 6-hour comprehensive design package for clients who want a design plan in a condensed time frame. We start with an initial phone call, followed by an in-home consultation, culminating with a design plan tailored to the space. This service is perfect for clients who would like a room design package for one to two rooms and are ready to implement the details themselves.

  • E-design services are also available for clients outside the Louisville Metropolitan area.  Clients provide details about their space, and we deliver tailored space planning and design schemes, complete with material and furnishings recommendations. Upon request, we can also assist with the procurement process and manage the shipping details to the specified location. We are happy to work with clients across the country, and our clients are able to update their rooms with us from their iPad or laptop.

The MNG Design Process

MNG Design follows a comprehensive process for our full-service and single-room design projects, ensuring that client expectations are met at every step.

Consultation

We begin with an initial phone consultation, followed by an in-home meeting for Louisville-based projects. We aim to gather as much information as possible about our clients and their needs so that our design plans are tailored to their aesthetics and preferences, while always maintaining the functionality of the space.

Design Development

Following the consultation, the Design Development phase begins. We work collaboratively with our clients so that their dream home is reflected in our selections, from flooring to draperies to furnishings to lampshades.

Procurement & Project Management

Upon approval of the design concept, we begin our procurement phase, during which we manage the purchase, shipping, and quality control of all project items. For renovation projects, we oversee all contractors who will execute our design concepts and make frequent site visits.

Installation

The renovations are complete, and all the furnishings have been delivered.  The home is ready, and the client is greeted in their new space, with every detail executed.
