Meet Maggie
Maggie Griesbeck, principal and lead designer at MNG Design LLC, is an interior designer based in Louisville, Kentucky, specializing in residential interiors, from full-service renovation projects to single-room refreshes. As a small firm, Maggie offers a level of flexibility and nimbleness, allowing her to tailor each project to her client’s needs and wishes. She works on projects of all sizes and has built a trusted network of contractors and vendors to help bring each client’s vision to life.
Maggie brings years of experience to her clients. With a unique perspective bolstered by her career path that encompassed working at one of the most prestigious auction houses in New York, Sotheby’s, followed by her positions in museums and arts development, Maggie’s skills of providing luxury experiences at the highest level undoubtedly transfer into creating a seamless design process, from start to finish, for her clients. Her academic interests reflect her lifelong love of the arts and design; she was an art history major at Washington and Lee University and has taken courses at the New York School of Interior Design and Parsons School of Design. Over the course of eight years, Maggie worked on renovating her home before starting her own firm in 2024, where she now shares her wealth of knowledge with clients across the Louisville area.
Maggie’s aesthetic continues to evolve, but she always finds herself drawn to timeless, classic design that feels fresh and modern at the same time. She aims for her spaces to reflect her client’s interests and lifestyle, while ensuring that each room is carefully curated and functionally serves its purpose. Maggie believes every home should be a mix of high and low, a blend of old and new, and thoughtfully designed yet approachable for modern-day living. Through deliberate selection of fabrics and furnishings, and the use of color, MNG Design’s comprehensive design process ensures that every space is tailored to her client’s wishes.
Maggie is always keen to stay current with the changing industry while staying rooted in her classic approach. She regularly attends larger market trade shows and meets with global vendors throughout the year. Her vast resources allow Maggie to present the best, most unique offerings to her clients at various price points, and her deep-rooted connections with her local vendors ensure all of her projects are completed to the highest level of quality.
Maggie is delighted to have returned to her hometown in Louisville with her husband, raising their three children in a house one street away from her childhood home. She looks forward to connecting with you regarding your next project!
